Does Mango Chamba specialize in any particular industries?
We’ve chosen a rather narrow specialization in terms of the skillsets we maintain expertise on, however, we have worked with companies ranging from non-profits, government entities, to large multi-national Fortune 500 organizations. Our candidate database is extensive and growing and we have flexed to other areas once we have an established relationship with our client.
How do you find candidates?
We have a network of recruiters in the US as well as Latin America that constantly monitor the market for top talent. We leverage technology to help make our recruiting efforts more effective and efficient, so we can do more with less, but we don't lose sight of the human element. It's why we say that we take a heart-centered approach as technology is getting better and better at doing repetitive automated work, the nuances of hiring the right person are hard to automate.
How do you determine if a candidate fits my culture?
We evaluate the whole person when deciding whether or not to present someone to you. This includes their professional expertise, technical skillsets, as well as their communication style. We ask specific questions to help draw out what drives the individual and because of our consultative intake process, we can match up the right individual for the position. Sound too good to be true? What are your fees? How do you charge?
Great question. Of course, it depends. For contract resources, we establish an hourly or monthly fee for the resource depending on the duration of the desired engagement. For direct hire resources, we offer a tiered pricing structure to enable you to leverage us for entry level roles, not just experienced professionals. Additionally, while nearshore permanent placement fees are a bit different than US-based resources, we still strive to maintain affordability so that you can get the right resource within your timeframe.
How quickly can you respond to my request?What if I need someone urgently
Well, one of our values is High Agency, which also encompasses a strong sense of urgency. We know that speed matters and we respond to most inquiries same day and are usually able to present candidates the next day for contract openings and within the week for direct hire permanent roles. We want to move quickly and with quality, so don't ever send you volumes of resumes to review. We understand that your time is valuable and aim to show you our respect by only sending you individuals that we think are worthy of your consideration.
What if I’m dissatisfied with a candidate?
We know we won't be perfect, and that not every placement will work out, however, our track record of success is close to a 90% retention rate. On the occasion that a permanent placement doesn't work out, we replace that individual within your guarantee period. For contract resources, we replace that person as soon as your timeline permits.
